Profanity filter

You can prevent and filter out reviews with unwanted content by setting prohibited words and profanity filter.

Add prohibited words

❗IMPORTANT

Customers are not allowed to upload any reviews containing prohibited words.

1. From Review → Settings tab, click General settings → Management features.
2. In the Advanced settings, enter the words in the Prohibited words settings field.
3. Click Save.
   
   
   
   
4. If customers write reviews with prohibited words, there will be an alert pop-up and the review will not be uploaded.
   
   

Set profanity and explicit language filter

❗IMPORTANT

Profanity words on reviews will be replaced with the words you set. 

From the General settings → Management features tab above :

1. Click Add keyword(s) on Profanity filter menu.
2. Type the profanity words you want to explicit in the Original keyword(s) field and how you want the profanity words to be displayed in the Filtered keyword(s) field.
3. Click Save.
   
   
4. Here is how your reviews will be displayed in the Reviews Widget.
