How It Works
CREMA offers a built-in solution using JSON-LD to automatically add rich snippets to your product detail pages without any manual coding. Our system utilizes the CREMA Reviews Widget code and JS library to fetch and embed the necessary data into your site's structured data. The following technical logic is applied depending on your site's current SEO structure:
- If no product snippet exists: CREMA will automatically create a new product snippet, including aggregateRating (total review count and average rating) information.
- If a standard product snippet already exists: CREMA will update the aggregateRating data within your existing product snippet to ensure accuracy.
- If a non-standard snippet is used: If your site uses a format other than JSON-LD (e.g., Microdata or RDFa), the SEO feature may not function as intended as these formats are handled differently by search engines.
- If multiple snippets are detected: If there are multiple product or aggregateRating snippets already present on the page, CREMA’s automatic feature will not trigger to avoid data conflict and potential search engine penalties.
❗ IMPORTANT
- While we ensure your page is marked up correctly according to the Rich Results Testing Tool, we cannot guarantee that stars will appear in Google search results. This visibility is determined solely by Google's proprietary algorithms.
- Google does not allow rich snippets for content related to firearms, weapons, recreational drugs, tobacco, vaping, or gambling. Please refer to Google’s content guidelines for more details.

STEP 1. How to Enable/Disable Google Rich Snippets
You can easily manage the SEO settings within your CREMA admin panel to control how your review data is shared with search engines.
Reviews → Settings → General Settings → Management settings
- Go to Reviews → Settings → General Settings → Management settings.
- Select the Advanced settings tab at the top of the management page.
- Find the Enable SEO features option and toggle it to enable or disable the feature according to your preference.
⭐ TIPS
- After enabling the feature, you can verify that your markup is functioning correctly using Google's Rich Results Testing Tool.
- Please note that it may take some time (anywhere from a few days to a few weeks) for Google to crawl your site and for the changes to be reflected in the actual live search results.
